She didn't realize that she had been in any of the pictures...

Madeline: Please don't put that one in the paper..

She said, not because she was shy, but because she was still in hiding.

She looked at him when he said that as she nodded, as that was fine with her.

Madeline: Alright.

She didn't realize that she had ended up in so many as she was usually pretty careful about that.

Madeline:  I didn't mean to get into your pictures.

She said as she was feeling a bit bad that she didn't do the kind of job she wanted.

She raised a brow as she looked at him hearing what he said as she was thinking about it.

Madeline:  Madeline collection?.

She looked at him shocked when he said that as she didn't think he really liked her that much.

Madeline: I'm your bestfriend?.

She smiled a bit as she looked at him, she heard his father clear his throat a bit as she moved back some, knowing he didn't really like her.

Madeline: Well I should get going, I need to get these other pictures to where they need to be... Glad the pictures work for you.

she smiled looking at him as she then grabbed her bag, heading out so she didn't bother him too much, knowing he had stuff to do with his father.

Madeline looked at him a bit confused, as she had a lot on her plate and had worked hard to get him his pictures.

Madeline: What's tonight?

She asked as he could tell that she was serious.

Madeline looked at him thinking about it.

Madeline: Oh, right..

She said thinking about it.

Madeline: Sure , if you're still wanting to go.

She said thinking about it, as she looked at him waiting to see what he was going to say..

Madeline smiled a bit as she looked at him thinking about it as she nodded her head.

Madeline: Alright, I'll see you at seven...

She nodded as she got in her car saying goodbye as she then drove off heading home... She wanted to do a bit of work on some pictures she had been working on, as she knew Robert asked her to do a personal favor for him, he was a little bummed when she had turned down a job offer, but Madeline was just afraid to get use to, or adjusted to one place, knowing she always had to pick up and leave.

She smiled as she looked at Jack, she was glad that he had stayed around, she needed her best friend..

Madeline: Yes, but he loved the pictures.

She said thinking about  it , knowing that the pictures would help out a lot..

Jack was happy to hear that. He liked Ryan now that he's gotten to know him. His father on the other hand...

"Great. Hopefully he will back off now."

Madeline shrugged a bit as she didn't know.

Madeline: I don't know..

She said as she sat down looking at some other pics...

Madeline: I'm going to see that new movie tonight, with Ryan.

She said letting him know that she would be out for a bit.

Jack ginned hearing that.

"Good. You need to get out with someone besides me. And you know that man is crazy about you."

Madeline shook her head , not thinking he was really all that crazy about her.

Madeline:  He's just being nice..

She said knowing he could do so much better than her, and well she didn't like to risk anyone by getting too close,  Jack had been the only one she let in, and even at time she kept him at an arms length to protect him..

Madeline: You' know it isn't safe, and who knows how long I'll be able to stick around.

Jack looked her in the eyes.

"I am telling you that Ryan is in love with you, Madeline. Maybe it is time to let someone else in."

Madeline thought about it shaking her head.

Madeline: He can do so much better than me, and his father hates me... I won't cause issues there , I don't want him to have to not see his father or cause any more issues between them.

As family was important, she had lost hers and didn't want to see anyone else lose out on what she wished she could have.

He shook his head.

"He can not do better than you.  You are perfect. And I don't think his father is going to have any say in this."

He saw the way she looked and sighed.

"I'm sorry. Thank you, Kayden."

He followed her to the kitchen.

"I am sorry, Kayden. I realize that if it weren't for you, I would be dead right now. I appreciate you helping me."

He frowned looking at her.

"I don't hate you. What makes you think I do?"

He frowned listening to her.

"You are a great maid. I like having you here."

He thought about what she had said.

"I didn't realize I was treating you bad. I was doing what my father had always done. I'm sorry."

He walked over and turned her around to face him.

"Am I doing something wrong? Please tell me if I am."

He nodded then looked at her.

"So I need to be nicer to the workers. Got it. Can you help me remember? Point it out to me when I've been too mean?"

He kissed her cheek and smiled.

"Spank you, Kayden."

He shook his head and smiled.

"Just something my friends would say joking around instead of saying thank you."

He playfully slapped her ass then grinned.

"Spank you."

He grinned and looked at her.

"Would you like me to kiss it and make it feel better for you?"

He couldn't help laughing a bit.

"I'm joking, Kayden. Any kissing will come later."

He was looking around his room and frowned a bit.

"Kayden? You still awake?"

He went and tapped on her door. When he didn't get a reply he opened it and heard the shower. He knocked on the bathroom door.

"Kayden?"

He couldn't resist the glance at her body.

"I'm sorry. I did knock."

He smiled softly down at her.

"I was looking for the book that was on my nightstand. Have you seen it?"

He frowned thinking about it.

"One of the others must have moved it. I'll ask them tomorrow."
