Ashlynn didn't think about how pissed off that her boss was going to be once he got home, until she was once again back with Edward. He had gotten hurt again, even though Ashlynn had nothing to do with it, she was the only one willing to risk taking him to get checked out. She didn't no too much about what had happened but was glad that Edward was alright, she worked getting him settled into bed.

||Ashlynn||- You just rest now, Sweety. Your father will be home soon.

She said as it finally hit her, as she was a bit nervous now but took a breath as she kissed the boy's forehead.. She then stepped out of the room as she looked at the house keeper who was suppose to be watching him.

||Ashlynn||- What happened?

She asked finally wanting to know what had taken place because she already knew Henry was on his way and the hospital had told him that Ashlynn was the one who brought the child in, they had to call him, to get the okay for Edward to be checked out with her there..

{House Keeper}- I don't know, I wasn't watching him like a hawk, little brat just runs off all the time.

Ashlynn glared at her.

||Ashlynn||- He isn't a brat, he just needs someone with a brain to look after him...

She said in Edwards defense as she looked at her.

||Ashlynn||- He could of drowned, that pool room was suppose to be locked and you are suppose to make sure his home is safe for him.

She said really upset as she felt like slapping the maid who didn't even seem to care that Edward could of died.. When the woman came back with another snide comment about Edward, she did just that, slapping her hard across the face as she glared at her.

Henry walked in as he was hearing the talking back and forth a bit... He stayed back just listening as he was wondering what was going on, angry when he heard it was his son... Just as he was about to step forward he saw Ashlynn not just defend Edward, but slap the woman who was insulting his son... He couldn't help but smile, but did finally step forward as both woman looked at him.  Seeing it took Ashlynn a moment to even calm down and be worried that her boss was right there.

At first the house keeper was smiling, thinking that Ashlynn was going to be in trouble.  As she usually was when it came to who Henry took his anger out on.  This time though it had been the House Keeper to be yelled at and told to get out.  Not even a lecture or a warning, like Ashlynn always got, no she was out... Ashlynn sat there quietly not sure what to say, as she was afraid of Henry.  She just looked down waiting to be told when to talk.  
{Henry}- Where is Edward, and how is he?
He asked standing right in front of Ashlynn... She bit her lip as she raised her head up after a moment, all the anger she once had was gone.
||Ashlynn||- He's upstairs sleeping sir.  The doctor said he's going to be just fine.  
She said letting him know what had happened and taken place.  She was use to him blaming her for it, as Edward was often just trying to get to her, or was with her because the staff wasn't good about watching him.  This time though he didn't look mad as he nodded a bit. 
{Henry}- I see, thank you Ashlynn.  
She looked up at him, seeing him smile at her... Which was new.. She didn't know how to really take it, but nodded after a moment.

He had a lot on his plate as of late and knew that Ashlynn seemed to always get the brunt of his temper and anger.  She didn't leave though as she must have either really liked the job or really needed it. 
"I'm sorry for my temper as of late.  I'm glad that you were here to help Edward when he really needed it."
He said knowing that he had been too busy to as of late.  Dealing with other family matters and the estate that his father was leaving behind... He also knew he had to find yet another wife to appease his father's wishes so he would be able to remain in his place here , and take over.  He had been stressing it and had many bad dates, women he didn't care for, they were good looking, but not good with children... It then hit him... 
"I think it's time for you to get a promotion, Ashlynn."
He grinned looking at her as he stepped closer to her.  Seeing her looking shocked and confused as she stepped back a bit when he got too close to her.

Ashlynn looked at him confused and a bit nervous with how close he was getting to her.  A promotion should sound like a great thing, but he was making her nervous about it.  She was pressed against the wall after a moment as she looked at him.
||Ashlynn||- What do you mean... What kind of promotion.
She asked as she was soon pinned against the wall.  His hand moved to her waist, while the other right next to her head as he leaned into her.
{Henry}- One that will give you all the benefits.  You won't have to work anymore... Just spend times with the children.... and me.
He smiled down at her as she looked at him, confused. 
||Ashlynn||- With you?  
He nodded and smiled, he leaned down as he nibbled her neck a bit... Ashlynn gasped a bit as she put her hand up on his chest, pushing him away a bit.
||Ashlynn||- Henry!
She said as she was shocked he was being like this with her, not use to it at all... She shivered a bit feeling his mouth on her as she didn't expect this.
{Henry}- You're going to be my wife, Ashlynn.   I'll take care of you, you take care of my children.  I'll make sure you're happy.  
He wasn't giving her a choice, and he was flooding her with himself now ,planning little kisses over her... Thinking this was crazy, he was crazy... 
||Ashlynn||- Wait.. what... wife...This is crazy.
She said as she was trying to make space between them... He just smiled nodding his head, feeling this would be perfect, she would be the perfect wife.  He knew she would care for his children, already knowing they were all close to each other.

He looked at her as he was all full of smiles... He knew this was going to be perfect.  He just had to make sure that she didn't turn him down... He knew that right now she was shocked and confused, so he was going to use it.
"Come on, lets make it official."
He said as he was moving his hands over her, she was shaking her head, but he looked at her.
"The children need you, I need you.  I promise to take care of you.  You won't ever have to work again.  Just spend time with the children and be their mother."
He said as he was pulling her against him, she was still trying to make since of it all and make it better.
"I know you need this just as much as I do.  We can help each other out Ashlynn." He said as he then whispered something into her ear as he had did his research on her and knew she was in hiding herself, as she looked at him shocked, knowing he had her now.  Knowing that he had her... Seeing her nod as he grinned a bit.. Kissing her as she was still very shocked with it, as he planned to make this as real as possible... He had to make sure his old man saw it as fully legit.

She knew she should say no, run away and get as far away as possible, but he was right, she needed to hide here... It was a safe place for her, and it was also her love for the kids.  They were the reason she enjoyed being here... Even as cruel as he had been, they always were there to make it worth it... He took her hand pulling her with him... This was happening now.
{Henry}- We'll do it quick now, and then have a big wedding later... 
He said with a smile, wanting to get this done now... She didn't have much of a chance to react as he took her in the limo, the kids were sleeping so they could do it and then have them involved after... He had Charles with them as a witness.  After they were done at the court house they were driving back to his home.. 
{Henry}- Tomorrow we'll move your things in.  Right now we will spend some time together, get to know each other better.
He said with a smile as she looked a bit nervous, but nodded her head. 
||Ashlynn|- Alright.
She said in a small voice.

They walked to Edward's room and Henry smiled when he saw his son sleeping peacefully. He kissed his head softly and tucked the blankets around him. 

He looked at Ashlynn and smiled.

Ashlynn: I adore Edward, I would do anything to keep him safe and happy.

She said simply as she knew Edward liked to do chores with her anyways and she didn't have anything going on after she was done working..

She nodded as she looked at him smiling warmly as she didn't mind helping, at least this would give him the chance to find someone who was able to do a good job at watching him, and look after him like he was needing, as she hated to see him so hurt and upset by all these horrible people coming in.

Ashlynn walked with him as she heard what he said as she was thinking about it.  She nodded her head a bit as that was his place to do that, as she just listened and let him talk, knowing he was thinking the same time as he was talking to her.

She said as she was thinking about it.. As they were walking her phone went off, she excused herself a moment as she picked up it... And started to speak. 

Ashlynn: Hello.. 

She was quiet a moment then went pale as she was told her place was on fire... 

Ashlynn: I'll be right there. 

She said hanging up the phone. 

Ashlynn: I need to go... 

She said as she ran out to her truck...

She was hoping for that but it was soon dashed by the time she was at her road and could see the flames she frowned when she stopped seeing her entire place up in flames as she was stopped by the police who were glad she was alright... They asked if there was anyone in there as she shook her head. 

Ashlynn: No , no one should be in there, I live alone.

She said as they didn't find anyone, but there were a lot of signs it was arson and it wasn't even out fully yet, as she frowned just standing there being told everything, she was glad that no one was hurt, but didn't like that someone had hoped ot kill her, knowing that she was usually home and in bed way past now...

She just stood there in shock still as she just nodded her head after a moment, she talked to the police for awhile before she was allowed to go back to Henry's place as she had to go back to the police station in the morning, but for tonight they were going to have some police near by just in case.. 

When morning came Ashlynn went down to the police station as she was being told about the fire and how someone had started it, and they even found a note. 

Cop: Someone came back last night after we left and left this. 

Ashlynn looked at it reading it, it was in Spanish as she read it out loud to them in English. 

Ashlynn: You're dead... You're family wasn't able to hide from me, and now you no longer will be able to hide from me.. 

She was confused as she didn't know too much about her family as she was told they had died in a car crash when she was very little.. ...

She sat there as she was thinking about it as she didn't understand any of this as she looked at the police.

Ashlynn: This doesn't make any since, I don't know who this would be or why he wrote this letter, he has to have me mistaken for someone else.

She said as she frowned a bit thinking about it.  After a couple more hours they headed out, as she stopped at the local store and picked up a few things some clothes and other needs, as he then walked inside with her as he helped her up to her room knowing she was still shocked over everything....

She had decided that a shower was best for her as she had stripped down and turned the water on, she stepped in the shower just taking the heat from the water as it felt good, she sighed as she did sink down to the floor though putting her head in her hands as she felt so lost, she didn't understand why anyone would want her dead.

After a few hours Ashlynn made her way down into the kitchen, she was standing there as she was cleaning the tray up as she was just thinking about everything,  and at the same time not really thinking about anything as she felt kind of blank at the moment, not really knowing what to do with herself really.
