Braelynn had been sick for a few days but wasn't wanting to miss class, Jimmy kept telling her to take the day off, he would get her work but she didn't want to , worried about her grades.

Braelynn: I'm alright, I can sleep after class, I don't have to work, and I don't have any place to go.

She said as he was feeling her head , seeing she was burning up as he was trying to get her to just lay down, knowing she wouldn't go to the doctors too afraid of her father finding her.

Braelynn: Really , I'm alright, I've been a lot sicker than this before, I'm fine.

She said not wanting him to worry.....

Braelynn: I've been sick like this before, and I've always came out okay and never seen a doctor then.

She said as she was never allowed those things she was never loved and taken care of as a child, she just got tough and use to it...

He called his friend and arranged for him to come and check on Braelynn. He stayed with her instead of going to classes.

Braelynn got back in bed after Jimmy was able to talk her into resting a bit as they waited for him to show up, once he got there she did sit up on the bed so he could check her over..

She did have a pretty nasty fever, and her chest sounded really congested, he did want her to go to the hospital but she shook her head.

She looked at him a bit unsure as she felt safe there, she had been there for so long, and was afraid to really come out of there fully, her being here with Jimmy on and off had been a big step for her..

He wrapped her in the blanket then lifted her into his arms. He carried her to the car and settled into the backseat with her. The doctor drove them to the apartment and helped get her set up in the bedroom.

"This will be much better for you. And you will be safe here."
